I’m May, the photographer behind Maybeams Photography, based in Ceredigion and working across Wales, originally from Bridgend, I'm happy to travel to meet my clients where needed.

I’m a mother to engeretic three boys and married to my  supportive and loving husband, living right in the middle of the beautiful chaos that comes with family life. It’s loud, busy, messy, full of love  and it’s exactly why I care so deeply about capturing these moments. You don't need to worry about a wild child, or one that doesn't want their picture. I can handle it and capture small moments fast,  

I know how easy it is to be the one behind the camera, only to realise another year has passed without enough photographs of you all together.
My background in youth work and love of creativity shaped my connection-led approach, but becoming a parent truly changed how I see the world. It showed me how fleeting the everyday is — the phases, the tiny details, the ordinary days that quietly become the memories we miss the most.
My photography is about holding onto those moments. The chaos, the laughter, the tenderness, the in-between. The photographs I create are honest, natural, and full of feeling — so you can look back and remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.
